Sussex Playwrights have announced the winner of the 2016-17 Constance Cox Prize Playwriting Competition.
The Winners
First : ‘The Teaswell Incident’ by John Dutton Prize £150
This play will receive a studio recording by TBC Audio
Second: ‘Storm in a League Cup’ by Simon Josiffe Prize £75
Third: ‘Rock and Chips’ by David Weir Prize £50
Congratulations to John, Simon and David.
All three winners also receive:
A rehearsed ‘script-in-hand’ reading with a discussion before an audience of members, writers’ family and friends, with the winners as special guests
A recording of your reading at the meeting
A prize certificate
